Trusting Jesus

Have you ever began to pray and just absolutely didn't know how to pray, or what/who to pray for?  You know everyone on your prayer list need prayer.  There's your pastor, family, friends, nation, yourself.  But maybe you're just tired, or you prayed for salvation for others.  But as you begin to spend time alone with the Lord, you're just at a loss as to how to pray.

That's when you ask the Holy Spirit to intercede on your behalf.  To pray on your behalf.  To look into your heart and go to the Father in Heaven.  To say, "Father, this is my child.  He/she needs your strength, wisdom, and guidance."

The Lord doesn't take our trials/troubles away.  He goes through these times of trouble with us.  He carries us when we can no longer walk.  He gives us that peace and calm that we so desperately need.

The Bible teaches us to trust Him with our every need.  That is really an easy thing to do, but we make it hard.  We decide to take things into our own hands.  Allow ourselves to worry about something that may never happen.  We give it to the Lord, then take back, in effect saying that we don't trust Him to meet the need.

Yes, we're human.  But we tend to allow the devil to defeat us.  So are you struggling today?  Are you wondering how to handle a looming situation?  Ask the Lord for wisdom and guidance.  Give the problems to the Lord and leave them there.  And every time the devil tries to make you doubt the Lord will meet the need, just point the devil to the cross.

Are you lost? Do you need the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior?  Go to Him and ask Him to forgive you of your sins.  Accept Him into your heart.  Then trust Him to meet every need in your life.
