Have you noticed all the violence and hatred in our world today? There is so much chaos going on in this world. If you have listened to the news lately, you can see how bad things are getting. Everyone trying to outdo the other person. It is taught to not bully others, whether in school, work, or wherever. But why are we telling our children to stop bullying others when adults are doing the same thing but on a higher, more dangerous level?Countries are fighting other countries. Parents against the children, and vice versa. Even those within the Church are backbiting and fighting each other. We as Christians are supposed to be different from the world. We're supposed to be showing why Christians are different from the world. It's sad to see Churches fighting each other, shunning someone. Aren't we supposed to show Christ's love to others?
So many people are feeling threatened. They go for years with no thought of the past, then at just the right moment, the devil points to someone and says,"remember what that person said to you so many years ago?" Then you begin to remember the pain from back then. It crosses your mind that you never got your revenge on that person.
These things have been going on for years. But now it's at the level which the hatred/violence is extraordinarily high. People feel as though their lives are being turned upside down. They're starting to lose control of everyone within their circle. We will all have to give an account one day before the Lord. Even though we as Christians will be in Heaven, how many of us will have to hang our heads, with no excuses, for there will be no excuses in Heaven.
Let's turn back to God. Let's make amends now before it's too late. Dear Father, forgive us where we have sinned. Thank you for your forgiveness and salvation. In Jesus's name I pray, Amen.
